There are numerous activities and places of interest to the visitor in the central Durban Area, each of which warrants its own
description. Addington Hospital's Centenary Museum holds a fascinating display of historic medical items. There are other museums catering for local
history, maritime issues and natural science, as well as the Old CourtHouse Museum, the Sugar Terminal and Whysall's Camera Museum. For open air
lovers there is the Royal Durban Golf Club, set in the centre of Greyville Race Track, and almost next door the world famous Durban Botanical Gardens.
Just North of the centre of town is the King's Park Rugby Stadium and the Durban Country Club, which offers some excellent golf.
If sailing is your forté pay a visit to the Royal Natal Yacht Club or the nearby Point Yacht Club. There's cricket at Kingsmead opposite the Old
Fort, and no visitor to Durban should miss the Indian Spice Market. The Durban Area holds something for everyone, young and old and whatever race or
creed. If you get tired of the town, pay a visit to the beach with its Snake Park and uShaka Marine World with its Dolphinarium. There's something for
everyone in the Durban area.
