The quiet and flourishing suburb of Glenmore, sitting alongside the suburb of Glenwood, lies south of the city centre of Durban, down the ridge from the beautiful grounds of the University of Natal and across Francois Road from the Berea. Glenmore, although not quite as glamorous as its neighbour Glenwood, is central and convenient, and within easy access of the major bus routes into and out of the city centre, and to several major freeways. It is minutes away from any part in Durban. Glenmore is bounded by the University Sports Grounds.

Glenmore is very close to the ICC (International Convention Centre) and Exhibition Centres, which are a quick trip into town. The rugby and cricket stadiums are easy to reach and the Pavilion shopping centre, with hours of shopping and entertainment value, is a quick trip up the western freeway.
