Visitors to the Silk Farm in Curry's Post can purchase a variety of exquisite silk garments. Or savour the colonial atmosphere whilst taking tea on the veranda at Halliwell Hall.

Flying enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to the monument erected to commemorate the flight by Goodman Household, where, in 1871 he flew in a home-built glider eventually crashing and breaking a leg.
