Petrusville is a quiet but beautiful suburb in the Northern Cape and was named after Petrus van der Walt who was the owner of the farm at the time.

Petrusville enjoys warm winter days with cool evening temperatures and most rainfall during the winter season. The summers are hot to very hot and dry.
