Zoo Lake is a municipal park in Johannesberg's northern suburbs, featuring a large pond (Zoo Lake) surrounded by parkland. The pond attracts many aquatic birds for whom the park provides a quiet and safe sanctuary in the heart of the city. The park is an excellent haven to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Row boats are available for hire, and there are tennis courts, a swimming pool, bowling club, tea garden and restaurant.
