Dargle Valley Pottery is situated on a farm in the Dargle Valley, where national award winner with over thirty years of experience, Ian Glenny creates his unique wares. The artwork produced at Dargle Valley Pottery includes stoneware, terracotta and porcelain as well as indoor and outdoor fireplaces by Ian Glenny who is also one of the founding members of the Midlands Meander. His work can be found in various private collections and galleries across the globe and Dargle Valley pottery boasts the best pottery gallery on the Meander.

Ian has made use of both a traditional wood fired Japanese Anagama Kiln, which is an ancient type of pottery kiln brought to Japan from China via Korea in the 5th century, as well as Ian's original oil fired reduction kiln. Both of these kilns produce quite different effects on the pots. The wood firing especially produces very organic, tactile work as a result of the unpredictable action of the ashes during the firing, leaving the artists work with muted, earthy colours and lots of varied textures.

Laurie Glenny graduated from Technikon Natal with a Fine Art Diploma, and her paintings explore the diverse medium of oil paint, reflecting a celebration of the wide sphere of organic forms and elements found in nature. They also grapple with multi-layered spiritual and philosophical issues.
