The small Seaton Park nature reserve is a registered site of conservation
significance and is located in Durban North, and covers an area of about six
hectares, consisting of a tiny patch of coastal forest tucked away in a
residential area. Seaton Park features a wide and interesting variety of plants
and birds, as well as toilets and a playground for the children. There are a
number of trails which run through Seaton Park, covering a total distance of
just over one kilometer. Visitors can easily walk around the park in half an
hour, but if one stops to examine the plants and birds, they can expect to stay
