The Supa Ngwao Museum in Francistown houses a variety of interesting and informative exhibits which represent the rich and diverse heritage of the of the locals, as well as the the history of Francistown. The Supa-Ngwao Museum comprises of three sections which include the museum, an information centre, and a craft shop.

The museum provides visitors with valuable insights into the local Kalanga culture. It is home to interesting displays of locally manufactured pots, hand woven baskets, traditional musical instruments, old farming equipment, and a selection of skilfully made woodcarvings.

The museum's information centre provides visitors advice on accommodation in the city, the location of various museums and landmarks, and other activities and attractions on offer in Francistown. The Supa-Ngwao Museum also houses the Haskins Archives, which feature a detailed history of Francistown. The museum also allows visitors to loan a variety of interesting books such as Historical Building In Botswana and Geomorphology in Botswana, for a small fee.

The museum's craft shop feature an extensive variety of handmade products. Over 200 artists make their way to the museum from as far as Maun and Thamaga to sell their wares .Items available for purchase from the craft shop include leather key-holders, woodcarvings, traditional jewellery known among locals as "dibaga" or "matlhowa".

The Supa Ngwao Museum also offers visitors a variety of guided walking tours of the city of Francistown, which cover all of the city's heritage sites. These informative tours serve as an excellent means of learning about the history of Francistown as a booming mining town during the late 1800's and 1980's.
