The 2 300 ha dam is of course the focal point for water sport enthusiasts, but Loskop also offers nearly 14 000 ha of bushveld, that provide sanctuary to a vast array of plants and animals.
White rhino buffalo, eland, sable and giraffe are just some of the mammals that have been reintroduced to the reserve. Kingfishers, flycatchers, and bee-eaters are just some of the avian delights awaiting the avid birder.
After an adventure-filled day by the dam or in the bush all are welcome to enjoy a relaxing booze cruise and where one can watch a beautiful red sunset across the African bushveld with your favourite drink in hand.
