The Jubilee House is situated in the exquisite McGregor, in the Breede River Valley, on the border of the Small Karoo.

McGregor is on the Route R62, the longest wine route of the world, surrounded by about 30 wine farms.

The City of Cape Town is 170km away from McGregor.

McGregor has been described as "one of the Jewels of South Africa".

The village is famous for its traditional whitewashed thatched cottages where the feeling of time stands still. The local marching band can often be heard in the distance on weekends entertaining locals and visitors with carnival music.

The popular wine route R62 is well known and goes through the town of Robertson a short 20mins drive away with all the major shops and facilities that may be required.

Quaint restaurants and pubs are scattered around the village, as are pottery and craft shops. Fresh vegetables are available from the local farm stall.
