Kam'Bati, a paradise for nature lovers and outdoors enthusiasts, is only 200km
from Cape Town a 3km drive off the N2. It lies on a spectacular piece of ground,
where an abundance of aloes grow amongst the fynbos, where the fish eagles call
and turtle doves quietly awaken you. The resort is situated 20km outside
Swellendam.
Here, where the Riviersonderend and Breede Rivers meet, is a fisherman's dream.
It boasts the likes of Carp, Bass, Eel, Springer and Barbel on a river, which is
easily navigated by boat.
The roads are accessible with regular vehicles, while there is a challenging 4X4
route laid out along side the river where 4X4 fans can let off some steam.
The campsite hosts 40 grassed sites with power points and is nestled peacefully
under giant trees on the lush river banks with convenient ablution block. It is
a wonderful family holiday and relaxation spot, which can also be booked for
weddings and other special occasions. A marquee can be made available for such
functions.
School groups are welcome and tents with 100 mattresses can be erected on the
lawn, under the trees nearby the lovely social lapa and scenic wooden deck
jutting out over the water.
The resort offers the following facilities: 130 Campsites, Swimming pools, Easy access to Brrede River, Supertube, Paintball,
Rugby Field, Fishing, Canoeing, 4x4 Track, Bar, Conference Centre and always
clean ablution blocks.
Buite Ekspo
Huge success once again!
We have had a couple of very successful events at Kam'Bati with Die Burger
kykNET Buite Ekspo being the biggest one to date. It was the second time that
the Western Cape event took place. This time round the weather at Kam'Bati
played along perfectly. The event's attendance was more than 6000 people from
all over South Africa. More than 80 exhibitors displayed their products at this
unique opportunity with lots of new and exciting additions to the market. We are
very grateful and excited to see the Outdoor/Camping market growing so
positively, and that there are so many people sharing our love for the outdoors
and everything that goes with it! Make sure not to miss next year's Expo at
Kam'Bati.
