Whether you are a business executive, an active sports person, are attending a function or just needing a home away from home whilst in Pietermaritzburg, at King's Hill you will find a comfortable place to relax, rest and unwind and will be treated with warm, friendly and personalized service.

King's Hill has two tastefully, individually decorated non-smoking rooms that are situated in a quiet garden overlooking our pool. (The Windsor and Hampton rooms)

Accommodation provided is either bed only, Bed and Breakfast, or self-catering.

Our individually decorated rooms consist of:

• Safe off-street parking with remote control access
• Own entrance
• Twin or king-size beds
• TV
• Comfortable table and chairs
• Bar fridge
• Microwave
• En-suite bathroom with shower
• Cupboard and/or hanging and shelving space
• Ceiling fan and heater
• Hostess tray with tea, coffee and complimentary rusks or biscuit

The WINDSOR ROOM is our largest room (can accommodate 1 - 4 people) and consists of twin beds, a comfortable double sleeper couch and a kitchenette allowing for self-catering. The kitchennette comprises a fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, toaster and kettle.

A buffet-style continental breakfast is served between 7 and 8.30am. If you need to leave prior to 7am we would be happy to place your breakfast items in your fridge for you to enjoy the following morning.

We are situated:

• 5kms from the N3
• 2kms from Oribi airport
• Close to the start of major sporting events, including the Duzi, Comrades & major cycle races
• Close to Maritzburg College, Girls High School (within walking distance) and Epworth school
• In the same road as the Secret Garden Wedding & function venue (app. 3.5kms)
• 10kms from the Midlands Liberty Mall

Services offered:

• Fax facilities are provided (faxes sent on your behalf by owner if requested)
• Wireless internet connection is available at a small fee (password enabled)
• Dinners provided on special prior-request
• Laundry service is offered if staying three or more nights
• Transport provided to and from Oribi airport if requested @ a nominal fee

Please Note:

• We are happy to accommodate children over 12 years of age
• We have two dogs on our property - but we do not allow other pets to be brought onto the property
• Smoking is allowed in the garden but NOT in any of the rooms
• Check in time on day of arrival is between 2 & 8pm
• Departure time is by 10am
