Not using a single tin of paint, all the chalets have been build using natural rocks found on the estate. Situated on the bank of a large dam, with wide open spaces, green grasses and invigorating fresh air! Enjoy a sundowner on your own private wooden deck watching the sun set behing dit beautiful Steenkampsberg, have a barbeque braai, or try your luck catching a Carp, blackbass, catfish of trout on booked daytrips to several farms in the area.
The chalets overlook a natural valley abundant with bird species,with several rare species spotted by avid birdwatchers, and exotic wild flowers a feast for the eye The name "Klitz-gras" is derived from the Klitsgras plant - is actualiy a weed found in the veld, the name suggests that staying with the Haefele family, you'll be sure to return as fond memories of the resonrt will cling to you- jus like the Klits-gras plant!

The Klitz-gras chapel is a thatched stone building surrounded by 2 dams,
bushveld and wetlands with breathtaking views. Our intimate chapel with it's
stained glass windows, can accommodate up to 50 guests for your special day. It
can also be used for christening, renewing your wows, functions and launches,
birthday parties, or just for a peaceful moment of spiritual contemplation. This
small chapel with its warm hospitality, furniture, artwork and personal touch,
provide a backdrop of uniqueness. Secure parking and as save environment for all
your guests. We will be able to assist you in your own choice of music,
caterers, video's, hairdressers and beauty saloons.
Guests can party the night away and then make use of our onsite wooden cabins,
situated on the dam wall on site.
Here you can truly unwind and enjoy your most important day in the company of
your family and friends, and have wonderful memories in the many years to come
