The old sandstone house with its beautiful oregan pine floors was built in 1868. There are 4 available bedrooms from which one is a family room with one double bed and two single beds. Ten guests can be accommodated. There are 2½ bathrooms.
The lounge area has an anthracite stove that ensures a cosy and warm atmosphere in winter. DSTV is available. Just bring decoder and smart card along.
Linen and towels are provided as well as electric blankets and hot water bottles.
In the fully equipped farm-style kitchen with its original oregan pine furniture is an Esse coal burning stove which add to the warmth and splendour of this old sandstone building.
Huge sandstone boulders and indigenous umbrella trees (Kiepersol) add to the beauty of this visitors' haven. Water is provided by fresh water springs and a borehole.
All accommodation is self catering. You only bring your own food and hiking boots for exploring the beautiful berg with its breathtaking view.
Servicing is available by arrangement and an additional fee. Braai facilities are available.
Farm animals are to be enjoyed by children and adults.
