Didimala Lodge

This elegant, tranquil self catering lodge is set on the greater Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, nestled in the magnificent Waterberg Mountains.
Only two hours from Johannesburg you can escape to a luxurious lodge with all the expected modern accessories.

Tucked away deep in the Mabalingwe Reserve, you will experience the bush in its unspoiled state - the early morning coffee on the deck, maybe in the hide, a luncheon on the deck by the pool, dinner around the fire place under the moonlight and perhaps cognac in the lounge.

Didimala Lodge offers 2 rooms with en suite bathrooms, another 2 interleading rooms with open plan bathrooms as well as 2 outside showers and a loft that can accommodate 2 people. We also have a kiddies bed and a camp cot available. The huge deck opens up with a lovely view of the ravine below. A few steps to the left of the deck and you are about to dive into the pool that overlooks the same tranquil serenity.

Further along the deck, past the swimming pool, down the steps is a hide, tucked away from the main deck for that quiet, restful alone time.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room. The lounge does have a TV, DSTV (own smartcard to be supplied) and DVD player. Cell phone reception is good and 3G is often available.

Mabalingwe is 'Big 5' country. The lions are however in a separate camp, making outdoor living a pleasure. Private game viewing or by appointment.The estate also offers a heated pool, tennis courts, restaurant and many more.

Didimala Bush Cottage

This charming, tranquil self catering Bush Cottage is set on the greater Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, nestled in the magnificent Waterberg Mountains.Only two hours from Johannesburg you can escape to a minimalistic, yet comfortable cottage. This is ideal for a couple and maybe even two small children.

Tucked away deep in the Mabalingwe Reserve, you will experience the bush in its unspoiled state - the early morning coffee in bed, a luncheon on the deck, a braai around the fire place under the moonlight and more.

Didimala Bush Cottage offers an open plan lounge/kitchenette with a bathroom (shower only) and a lovely deck. The bedroom is situated in the loft and consists of a double bed and a day bed with a spare mattress.

The kitchen is compact with a microwave, gas stove, fridge/freezer. The lounge has a TV, DVD player and a DSTV decoder (smart card not supplied).Cell phone reception is good and 3G is often available.
