The perfect "Romantic Weekend Getaway"
Hartbeespoort Dam is known as the playground of Gauteng. Activities in the area
include an array of water sports, The Elephant and Monkey Sanctuary, walks with
lions, game drives, Art Galleries & markets, Balloon Safari's with Bill Harop
and a whole lot more.
The area lies in between the Magaliesburg Mountain Range and is half way between
Johannesburg/Pretoria and Sun City.
Accommodation
Luxury Rooms
These are tastefully furnished with Queen or king-size beds, wingback chairs,
TV, tea & coffee stations, three with balconies and three with cosy garden
patios. All command magnificent views of the water from the en-suite Jacuzzi/Spa
baths.
Honey Moon Suites
Slightly larger than the others, these suite are elegantly furnished with
king-size beds, lounge, TV, tea & coffee stations, mini bar, balcony and
Jacuzzi/Spa bath overlooking the dam. Depending on the season we either offer
complimentary roses or aromatherapy baskets with these rooms. Both command
spectacular views of the water.

Fine Dinning:
Our resident chef who cooks up a storm on Friday and Saturday Nights as well as
for private parties, Sunday Lunches and conferences. We offer a three course set
menu in our romantic pool side restaurant rounded off with Italian coffee and
Belgium chocolates.
For the romantic we offer a private dinners set aside from the main restaurant
with soft lighting and classical music (78 proposals and counting)
Sunset cruises:
On Weekends we offer our guests a 2 hour sunset cruise on our very own launch
boat "Bella Natasha". There is just something to be said about drifting silently
across the water shadowed by the Majestic Magaliesburg Mountain Range For the
more adventurous we tag along the ski-boat.
"The Sweet Life" Weekend Packages:
Friday - Champagne and roses in your room on arrival. Delicious three course
dinner followed by Belgian chocolates and Italian coffee in the restaurant.
Luxury accommodation with Jacuzzi Spa bath with aromatherapy basket.
Saturday - After a full English breakfast either laze around the pool or enjoy a
day of exploring the area. Sundowner boat cruise with snacks to tide you over
for another candle it dinner served up by our chef Paige. Luxury accommodation
with Jacuzzi/spa bath.
Sunday - lazy Sunday full English breakfast served up with your favourite Sunday
Paper. Just the way it should be!

"Sunday @ The Dam Special"
We know not everyone can take the weekend off so we have put together a great
Sunday special especially for you.
Enjoy your day at leisure exploring the area and then join us for a sunset
cruise followed by our famous Pasta Dinner. Luxury accommodation with
Jacuzzi/spa bath. Either a full English breakfast or a packed breakfast if you
got to be off to work.
"Midweek Dash"
Surprise that special person and join us for a midweek stay, which is inclusive
of a romantic candle lit dinner followed by Belgium Chocolates and Italian
Coffee. Luxury accommodation with Jacuzzi/spa bath. A full English breakfast
before getting back to the rat race.

Here at La Dolce Vita, which is the perfect executive conferencing and team
building hideaway, your group of up to are everything to us. We will pamper and
spoil you rotten. Expect an unforgettable experience for you and your team
Our new "La Vista" Conference room seats 30 delegate in a u shape and has the
best view over the dam. We call it "Conferencing in the Sky"
Accommodation
Conference guests are accommodated in a total of 9 rooms and as a result of
a great working relationship that we have formed with other guest houses in the
Kosmos Village we now offer up to 35 rooms in our "Conferencing in Kosmos"
initiative. All venues are within walking distance from each other and all
conferencing and banqueting events are done at La Dolce Vita. Menus are
personalized and planned according to your needs and wants. Don't forget to try
"The Italian Table" (Just the way the Italians do it!)
Standard conferencing equipment is available as well as wireless internet
access. Data projector available on request.
Team building and recreation
We offer our guests a two hour sunset cruise with snacks and drinks on our
own launch boat, there is just something to be said about drifting along
silently across the water shadowed by the Magaliesburg Mountain Range. For the
more energetic we tag along the ski-boat.
Other recreational activities in the area include quad biking, hot air
ballooning with Bill Harrop, horse riding, a visit to the elephant sanctuary,
golf at Pecanwood and quiet strolls along the Kosmos Nature Trail. And now "The
View Spa" a wonderful way to end a long days conferencing.
