Self Catering Flatlet Accommodation
in Paternoster, Cape West Coast,
Western Cape, South Africa
La Mer offers guests the opportunity to stay right on the beach in the
peaceful fisherman's village of Paternoster. 15m from the high-water mark, this
ideally situated self-catering unit offers the best views of breathtaking
sunsets and endless beaches. Watch the fishermen going out to sea with their
small fishing boats at dawn and returning in the afternoon with the catch of the
day. Not to mention the sound and smell of the ocean on your doorstep.
During August/September the landscape burst into color when it is flower time on
the West Coast. Explore the beauty of the nearby Tieties Bay where you will also
find the Cape Columbine Lighthouse.
Whales and dolphins are a common sight and the pristine waters of the Atlantic
Ocean offers an abundance of crayfish (lobster) and fish like snoek and
hottentot.
If you don't fancy the idea of preparing you own food, there are 3 restaurants
and a hotel, or buy a 'fish and chips parcel' at the waterfront.
La Mer can only sleep 2 people and consists of the following:
- King size bed or 2 Single beds with good quality mattresses.
- Crisp white linen and extra blankets for chilly nights.
- Two seater couch.
- Full DSTV
- Bathroom area with a shower. Designed that you can see the sea when
showering.
- Bath and hand towel for every guest.
- Fan for summer and heater for winter.
- Hair dryer on request.
- Kitchen with gas hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and bar fridge.
- Deck with outside braai (barbeque).
- Guests must be able to manage stairs.
Unfortunately:
- No card facilities.
- No smoking inside the flatlet.
- No pets allowed.
