La Mer is a new apartment block which has stunning uninterrupted sea views and overlooks the famous
Margate Pier. Take a walk to the main Margate beach which is only 500m away, or stroll down the main road which is right behind the block. You have the convenience of all the shops and a supermarket only minutes away. You need never use your car or fight for parking, just leave your car in the secure parking area (1 undercover, trailer parking and additional parking bay). For greater peace of mind there is a remote controlled access into the property and a 24-hour roving guard on-site.
The apartment can accommodate 6 people and has been decorated in style with all modern conveniences included. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area, and a large undercover verandah. The main room has a queen sized bed with a bath/shower en-suite. The second room has a queen-size bed and the third room is fitted with 2 single beds. The main bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is fitted with new stainless steel fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are 3 kitchen counter stools, as well as a 6-seater dining room suite to enjoy your meals indoors, or if you prefer eating on the cool of the spacious verandah, you will find a 6-seater patio set and a gas braai. In the lounge you can relax on the comfortable leather lounge suite and watch TV, a DStv decoder is fitted, just remember your own standard smartcard (not PVR card).
All linen is provided for the beds, you will need to bring your own bath towels and beach towels only. You will also need to provide your own detergents and toilet paper.
La Mer has a lovely swimming pool with toilets and a change room area, surrounded by a small garden.
There is a once-off compulsory cleaning fee of R400.00 which will ensure a spotless apartment awaits you, as well as a full clean once you have vacated, as well as a R400.00 breakage deposit. A full inventory is done before and after you leave. There is no daily cleaning service provided, but if required, this can be arranged at a further cost.
