The seaside town of Langebaan is situated on the banks of Langebaan lagoon,
only 120 km north of Cape Town on the R27 West Coast road. The Lagoon is part of
the magnificent West Coast National Park and is world renowned for its diverse
fauna and flora. Geel Bek Restaurant and bird hide is situated 15 km from the
park gate, and Church Haven and Kraal baai is part of the greater Langebaan
lagoon. The Postberg nature reserve opens in August-September during the flower
season for spectacular Namaqualand spring flowers. The Mediterranean style Club
Mykonos resort and casino is a few minutes from langebaan town. Here one can
take boat trips, play putt putt, hire quad bike or jet skis. There is a health
and leisure centre and pubs and restaurants.
Langebaan beach cottage is located close to the Langebaan yacht club and a few
minutes walk to the protected Sandy Bay. The Laguna shopping mall, golf course
and restaurants are 5 minutes away.
There is a self-contained holiday house & flatlet, which sleeps 8, five minutes
from the lagoon edge. The main house has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and two
bathrooms, and there is a separate flatlet, which is a double, en-suite room
(sleeps 2). The kitchen is open plan with a large lounge/dining area. The
outside entertainment area has a built in braai. The property is completely
enclosed, with off-street parking. (NB: There is no TV, please bring your own
towels)
Ideal for accommodating two families, enjoying privacy and independence. There
is an addittional hot outside shower.
