Lemoenfontein Game Lodge is set in the heart of the Great Karoo against a backdrop of the Nuweveld Mountain Range,Beaufort West and the vast Karoo plains.

This exclusive Lodge is situated on a 10 000 hectare private game reserve. Built in the mid 1800's by an English Gentleman and once used as a private hunting lodge. Today 12 extremely comfortable en-suite bedrooms all leading out onto wide verandahs. All rooms have air conditioners and wall heaters, and some with fireplaces. Outside braai facilities and swimming pool situated in a lovely garden.

The reserve hosts more than 20 game species including Giraffe, Burchell and Mountain Zebra, Eland, Kudu, Blue and Black Wildebeest and many more. Early morning and evening game drives in an open game vehicle, 4x4 trails, walks and hiking trails. Nearly 200 various bird life species have been recorded on the reserve.

Lemoenfontein Game Lodge is a beautiful oasis in the Arid Karoo which offers peace and tranquility in a magnificent setting.

The Lodge prides itself with full farm house breakfasts and traditional South African three course dinners, in summer on its magnificent verandah and in winter in our stunning dining room with crackling log fires. Light lunches are offered to guests staying over.

Our stylish lounge offers fully licenced bar facilities, DStv and a fireplace to relax alongside in winter.
