12 Kms from Ballito is where you will find the beautifully restored old
colonial farmhouse, Linton House, set in a lovely garden with large old
trees and parklike surroundings leading to a colourful dam with geese, ducks and
bass fishing.
Linton House has a typical farmhouse verandah with comfy chairs to relax.
The livingroom is big and welcoming with a stone fireplace and TV/DStv. The
diningroom has an 8 seater yellowood diningroom table and yellowood dresser. The
farm kitchen is big and spacious with a breakfast table and chairs and is well
equipped for selfcatering. It leads onto the back verandah and entertaining area
with swimming pool and outside bar with a bar and bar stools overlooking the
pool. There are four bedrooms, two ensuite and a third bathroom. The ensuite
bedrooms have double beds and two bedrooms have single beds. The laundry has a
washing machine, wash tub, airing cupboard, iron and ironing board.
Airconditioning in the living room and main bedroom otherwise ceiling fans.
Covered parking for two cars.
Across from the swimming pool is the garden cottage which sleeps 4 persons in
two bedrooms sharing a bathroom. It has an open plan, fully equipped
kitchenette, diningroom and livingroom and a front verandah facing inland away
from the main house. Covered parking for one car.
Both Linton House and cottage are fully burglar barred, indoor security alarm
and the premise is electrically fenced. Serviced daily, excluding dish washing.

- Fishing: Catch and release bass fishing and sea fishing.
- Bird Watching: Good bird watching in the garden and parklike
surroundings.
- Walking and Mountain Biking: On the farm and surrounding area.
- Lucky Linton Goldmine: In walking distance from Linton House passed the
dam to the old prospector's gold mine. Learn to pan for gold like they did
100 years ago. A small museum to browse in.
- Scratch Patch with semi precious stones.
