The location is also ideal for daytrips to a.o. Ficksburg itself every November. Even closer, you can visit the Meulspruitdam Resort, ideal for pick-nicks, swimming and boat-trips.

In the neighbourhood there are further activities like horse-riding, game-drives, wild-parks, off-road, golf, fishing, etc.

Accommodation
The accommodation consists of a 2-bed studio in the main sandstone farmhouse. It has its own private entrance and bathroom plus a fully equipped kitchenette with all the basic supplies such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, etc. Sliding doors open to the ample terrace with a cosy braai area. The apartment is self-catering and equipped with bedding, towels, etc. If necessary, extra beds are available. More accommodation and the swimming pool are being refurbished at the moment.
