Loch Broom Paradys is a holiday reserve situated in the heart of the Kalahari
and on the main route to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Escape from the
hustle and bustle of the city and relax in a stress-free environment.
Loch Broom Paradys consist of 4 types of accommodation.
The Main Lodge
The Main Lodge is nestled between two sand dunes and sheltered by huge
camelthorn trees.
Main lodge consist of 9 luxury units. Each unit has one double bed and a
bunkerbed. All linen and towels are provided. Each unit has an en-suite
bathroom. Units are dual air-conditioned (hot and cold). Each unit has a
mini-kitchen with fridge.
The main lodge has a communal kitchen that is fully equipped with all cooking
utensils, gas stove, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and cutlery. The lodge has
a dining room, television room with satellite dish, swimming pool and a lovely
boma with open braai area. There is also conference facilities, no electronic
equipment supplied. This makes the lodge an ideal location for groups. The lodge
can accommodate up to 36 people. The lodge is self-catering, however catering
can be provided on request.
The Cheetah chalets
There is 2 cheetah chalets. Both chalets are identical. The chalets can be
individually booked. The chalets are situated conveniently close to the
reception area amongst indigenous camelthorn trees in a natural garden.
Each chalet is furnished as follows:
One en-suite room with double bed, another room with double bed and 2 bunker
beds in living area. There is also a separate bathroom. All linen and towels are
provided. Chalets have dual air-conditioning (hot and cold). Each chalet has a
fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils,gas stove,microwave
oven,fridge,freezer and cutlery. Both chalets are self-catering.
Units have an open fireplace and braai area and each unit has a spacious living
area.
The Bungalow
Our bungalow is situated amongst indigenous camelthorn trees in a natural
garden.
The bungalow has one room with double bed. There is two single beds in the
living area. The bungalow has a separate bathroom. The bungalow is dual
air-conditioned, it as also self-catering with an equipped kitchen with all
cooking utensils,gas stove,microwave oven ,fridge and cutlery.
The bungalow has an open fireplace and braai area and the bungalow has a
spacious living area.
The Rondawel
Our rondawel is situated amongst indigenous camelthorn trees in a natural
garden.
The rondawel has an Open area with 1 bedroom with double bed and 2 single beds.
All linen and towels are provided. The rondawel has a separate bathroom. There
is en with an open area kitchen withall cooking utensils,gas stove, fridge,
freezer and cutlery. The rondawel is air-conditioned . Guest can enjoy the
self-catering facilities.
The rondawel has an open fireplace and braai area.
Ample and safe parking is available for all units. Loch Broom Paradys has a
lovely curio shop for your convenience.
Activities
Experience the Kalahari at close quarters on foot!
Take a stroll on a one-hour easy walk in close proximity to your accommodation
or embark on a extended hike into the dunes.
Game drives
There are morning and afternoon game drives to suit your needs. We also
undertake night drives where a wide variety of Kalahari night animals, birds and
insects can be seen.
4 X 4 Route (Own vehicle)
The route is not too difficult but the driver's 4X4 skills will definitely be
challenged to conquer the Kalahari-dunes.
Bird watching & Gameviewing
Enjoy these activities from elevated hides at waterholes.
Various game and bird species frequent these waterholes and the chances are good
to see some of the rarer species.
