Situated in the Cradle of Humankind, overlooking the Hartbeespoortdam and the
majestic Magaliesberg mountain range, lies a luxury cottage for a weekend
getaway, perfect for couples looking for romance and tranquility.
There are two cottages on the premises. Each cottage boasts a guest bathroom, a
fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower and bath
included), and an open plan lounge and dining room, with a fireplace for cold
winter nights. Each cottage can, however, accommodate four people; the couch can
be converted to a comfortable bed for two. Max visitors amount to 8 people.
Also available on the premises is a braai area at the cottage as well as by the
pool. For especially romantic evenings, a dip in the Jacuzzi is highly
recommended (optional extra).
Rather than tight spaces and high rise buildings, Magalies Bushbaby Retreat
offers you space, comfort and the natural sounds of birds and bees. Next door,
just 5 km drive away, is a private game park that offers game drives to see
lions, tigers, leopards, giraffes, hippos, elephants and buck of all kinds. We
wish all our guests a wonderful and peaceful time at our retreat.
