There are three self-catering units to rent at Marina Sands,
Jeffreys Bay - nrs. 23 (ground floor, sea side), 24 (ground floor, inland side), and 26 (top floor, inland side). These spanking new flats are within the same building complex and afford a lovely view of the mountains to the north, the nearby Marina Martinique canals, or the sea, depending in which unit you are and from which window or balcony you view the outside world.
An additional bonus is that you are only about 200m from the beach with its lovely stretches of white sand to both sides. And at night you can actually hear the murmuring of the surf. Each unit has two bedrooms for a total of four beds and a comfortable livining room. And yes, its fully furnished with all kitchen equipment you may need including a Weber braai utility.
Smokers can do their thing on the en-suite balcony and there is a TV set in each unit. All you have to bring is your own food and drinks and, preferably, your own beach towels. If you wish to eat out you have a choice of two excellent restaurants nearby - Walskipper or Tappas.
You will find few places in South Africa which can match their sea-foods (Tappas is about 150 meters away and Walskipper about 250m). If you need to go shopping, no problem, nearby Jeffreys Bay has everthing you may need.
