Marlin cottage is situated on the front street of the village with only a
dune separating the cottage from one of South Africa's top 20 beaches. A pathway
wends its way over the dune, offering an unsurpassed view of the beach at its
summit. The lagoon, forest, and surrounding mountains are also within easy
walking distance, making this a truly special holiday destination.
Marlin sleeps 9 people comfortably. The house has three bedrooms and is fully
equipped for self catering. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized
bed; twin beds in the 2nd bedroom and a single bed in the 3rd bedroom. The annex
has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed (sleeping
two). The house and the annex each have a bathroom and also an outside shower.
The lounge leads to an outside veranda with a table and chairs. There is a large
private garden with a BBQ at the back of the house. Marlin is fully equipped
with linen, bath towels and additional blankets are available for the winter.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, microwave as well as small
appliances. Expect all the comforts of home. Please note that we do have a TV
and DVD player on site, but no reception, so bring your own DVD's. Parking is on
site behind a gate.
During the South African school holidays expect a lively holiday vibe, for the
rest of the year Nature's Valley is an oasis of peace. The unique combination of
sea, lagoon, forest, fynbos and mountains makes Nature's Valley the perfect
getaway destination. You can use Nature's Valley as a gateway to the Garden
Route or simply as a place to enjoy long, lazy days in the sun.
