Nestling against a kopje only 2km from the
Nelspruit CBD, and surrounded by the most beautiful, tranquil gardens, Matopos Lodge is a luxury 4 Star accredited lodge (TGCSA, NGHA, and NAASA). We offer 10 beautifully appointed en-suite rooms (air-conditioning/fans) equipped with bar-fridges, coffee & tea facilities, safes, cable TV and private balconies with stunning views over the Town as well as the rolling green hills and valleys of Mpumalanga.
The main residence has a Guest Lounge which boasts a blazing fire to warm the chilly winter nights. Outside is a breakfast terrace - where guests are greeted by the morning melodies of copious indigenous birds. The deck leads to a thatched lapa with a casual bar where our guests enjoy socializing and sharing their stories of their days adventures.
A serene garden with trickling rock features and a swimming pool caressed by the sun; adds to wonderful ambience of Matopos.
Hiding between the huge boulders in the garden is a candle lit Jacuzzi to seduce romantic ones or those that just want to relax after a hard days work.
Breakfast and dinner, and picnic baskets are supplied on request for those who need to go on early game or panoramic drives. Private meals by candlelight can be set up in one of our dining areas for those special occasions. Please advise should you have specific dietary requirements.
Secure off suite parking available; and all rooms are protected by state of the art security. Entrance to the Lodge can only be gained via a security gate.

- We regret, no children under the age of 12 years.
- Toy and small breed of dogs are most welcome under supervision.
