Milkwood Manor house is perched on the top of a hill with 180 degree views
over Christmas Bay All the bedrooms are en suite and 3 of the rooms are part of
the main house and the other 3 rooms have separate entrances. All bedrooms have
their own balconies where one can sip an early morning cup of coffee or an
evening glass of wine and watch for dolphin frolicking in the waves. The lounge
also has a big covered veranda leading from it with sea and indigenous forest
views.
There are 2 flat screen TV's, one in the big lounge downstairs and one in a
smaller lounge upstairs together with DSTV and PVR. We also have wireless
internet connection for those of you that require it.
Two hours North we have the Umphalozi/Hluhluwe Game Park together with the big
5. We also have Ushaka Marine World in Durban about 30km Drive from the house.
For the golfers we have Zimbali, Princes Grant and Umhlali golf courses right on
our doorstep as well as Simbeti.
We have Gateway - world of shopping and entertainment as well as over 60
restaurants which are local and within a 10km radius.
Sybia Casino is about 15km from the house with gambling, a theatre, and
restaurants.
We have wonderful beaches along our coast line from long stretches to amble
along with glorious rock pools to surfing beaches with life guards to keep you
safe.
We also have the Holla mountain bike and foot trails nearby which has become
extremely popular among the locals and the visitors to our area. These trails
venture over numerous farms and over numerous distances with wonderful scenery
and exciting paths. Lots for the adventurous and also plenty for the beginner
and not so adventurous. Non bikers can merely amble along the trails and meet up
at the end for breakfast at their refreshment cafe.
If you are merely looking for peace and tranquillity then this is where you will
find it and if you are looking for the bright lights they are not far away.
