The garden has numerous areas where guests can relax in private. Having breakfast or a "braai" under the old Camphor tree is quite a memorable experience! This is also the ideal spot to take a smoke-break. Breakfast is normally served private in the units, however, by arrangement, it can be served in the dining room with friends.
The low volume of traffic and the high level of security contributes to the tranquillity of our area. The property has a security and electrified fence and beams we are also clients of GPS, a reliable armed response unit. The parking area is also situated in this safe area.
We have a variety of units to suit your needs:
Two self-service garden cottages with twin beds, kitchenettes and bathroom (shower), private entrances and access to private garden areas.
The Loft, a spacious unit with old world charm, twin beds and private bathroom (bath and shower).
The Suite has a private lounge, bathroom (bath and shower), two rooms (twins and double), private entrance and access to a private garden area.
All our units have a fridge, microwave-oven and tv with M-Net and limited DStv. Fresh fruit, fruit-juice, milk, tea and coffee daily. (Also provided, should you choose "self-service"). We also provide all the normal amenities (including internet and fax for business persons) to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Milner 246 Bed & Breakfast is ideally situated. It is very close to up-market shops, restaurants and theaters. Close to hospitals, a golf-course and all the major highways. We have a shuttle service to and from Johannesburg International Airport and day trips or trips to the
Kruger national Park or areas of interest can be arranged.
Close to historical buildings such as the
Melrose House and Paul Kruger House. In less than an hour from the
Sterkfontein Caves (Mrs Pless), and the Lion and Rhinoceros park.
