DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATION

Monk's View is a beautifully designed new complex in Plettenberg Bay, a premier holiday destination situated on the picturesque Formosa Bay in the scenic Garden Route of South Africa.

The Penthouse (23 Monk's View) is an upmarket, stylishly furnished, modern apartment on the top floor of the complex, with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, large living area, a large fully equipped kitchen and a large patio. It is situated just above the village centre within easy walking distance of excellent shopping facilities and restaurants, and just a brisk walk from the beach. NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT.

The large covered patio, living areas and 2 of 3 bedrooms all offer spectacular views of the Tsitsikamma mountains, the Keurbooms lagoon and Formosa Bay. Bring your binoculars and watch dolphins and whales in the bay from the comfort of an easy chair on the patio!

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed, a dressing room and full en-suite bathroom, while the other 2 bedrooms which each have 2 single beds, are served by another full bathroom. Linen and towels (both bath and beach) are supplied. The bedrooms have ample cupboard space and are carpeted. The main and one of the other bedrooms open onto the spacious patio. The living area and bathrooms are tiled and have underfloor heating.

The living area consists of comfortable and spacious lounge and dining areas, equipped with a large screen TV, DStv (bring your own smart card), DVD/CD player and a surround sound system. Sliding glass doors open onto the large covered patio on two sides. A Weber barbecue and comfortable patio furniture are also provided.

The kitchen is open plan to the living area and has a gas range, electric undercounter oven, microwave/convection oven, double door fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.

The building is well secured - access (both elevator and stair) to the complex is through a coded security door. The apartment has a video monitor allowing visitors to be identified before they gain access. Two secure parking bays are available in the basement, with access via a remote controlled gate.

This spectacular part of the Garden Route has an abundance of marine and forest life and is well known for its whale, dolphin and bird watching. A short distance from Plett is Knysna and the Tsitsikamma Forest. A wealth of outdoor activities is available - watersports, hiking, biking, horse trails, golf courses and, for the more adventurous, the world's highest bungee jump.
