Morocco is a country with a cuisine as vibrant and varied as its history.
Influences from the French, Spanish, Turks and Arabs have combined with the
traditional Berber cooking methods of the country to produce a wonderfully
exotic array of dishes. From miklee - the flaky pancakes, most commonly served
as breakfast in Morocco, to a chicken tagine flavoured with plump olives and
preserved lemons from the sun-drenched groves of Agadir - the foods of Morocco
are softly hued with aromatic spices.
This is our unwavering commitment - to tantalise your senses with an adventure
of contrast, colour, taste and mystery until you have reached shabban - a state
of being fully sated.
Conferencing & functions
The public areas of our facilities are available for the use of any of our
guests - for undisturbed private meetings, the entertaining of associates or
acquaintances or larger functions for up to 100 persons. Any specialised
equipment can be arranged and special needs met. As with anything else that we
do, you can be assured of the highest level of professionalism at all times.
Shop
The vibrant interior décor showroom conjures images of colourful markets
and nomadic tribes.
Visitors are treated to a visual feast of authentic handmade Moroccan crafts and
magical lanterns.
Our delicately crafted ceramics - an art handed down from father to son for over
5 generations. The woven tapestries inspire stories of magic carpets and
princes. Dappled light and rhythmic music accompany an unforgettable shopping
experience.
Proximity
Located in the lusciously green suburb of Pretoria, Moroccan House
is perfectly situated for guests who need easy access to and from O.R Tambo
International- and Lanseria Airports. The close proximity to most major highways
namely the N1, R21, N14 allows our guests to be centrally located making it
possible to have a "home-base" whilst travelling in the Gauteng area.
