Come and spend a few days de-stressing, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Kick back and relax in a cosy lounge whilst reading a good book or watching TV (non satellite). Toast your toes on a roaring fire when the Overberg nights get chilly.

Wake up to sun streaming through the bay window of the main bedroom (double bed). Linen and towels supplied. Or, fulfill your childhood dream of sleeping in a loft under aromatic thatch (two single beds).

Satisfy all your self-catering needs with a fully furnished kitchen. A continental breakfast can be ordered the previous day. A full cooked breakfast can be obtained at a restaurant a short walk down the road.

Relax on the patio and take in panoramic views of the Langeberg mountain peaks, forming a backdrop to the leafy Swellendam town.

Stroll around the spacious grounds and down to a unique garden feature in the shape of Africa. Explore the flora in an indigenous planter’s paradise.

Enjoy a barbeque at the gazebo, next to the water feature. Abundant bird life for all birders.

Swellendam is an historical town, being the third oldest in South Africa. Explore the Drostdy Museum and other historical buildings.

If it is a more active break you are looking for you could always go horse riding, mountain biking, hiking in our mountains or canoeing on one of the dams.

A leisurely outing could include a sunset cruise on the Buffelsjagdam, visits to Sulina Faerie Sanctury, Wildebraam youngberry farm and liqueur cellar, art galleries, pottery studios and craft shops.

We are situated within an hours drive to beaches, Malgas hand-drawn pontoon, various nature reserves, Bontebok & De Hoop National Parks.
