Lady Grey has improved with time. Old buildings have been restored and properties are sought after by those who are in love with its charm and tranquility. The lovely town is beautifully set in the majestic Witteberg Mountains. Wild Trout and Yellow fish bearing crystal clear water streams and rivers flow through the area. It is paradise for nature lovers, bird watchers, hikers, fly fishing enthusiasts and many more. In short, it is magic.
Our charming double storey Victorian building is more than 110 years old and situated in the middle of town. The 12 en-suite rooms have different themes and decor and most rooms have antique furniture. Mattresses are in good shape to ensure a good night's rest. Our linen and soft furnishings are clean and child friendly (no frills and lace).
Help yourself to our extended Continental breakfast while a friendly staff member takes an order for your choice of a hot breakfast. Our Dinner menu is A la Carte with a selection of tasty meals. Guests and visitors may eat in the restaurant, pub or on the veranda. For large groups we do a pre-arranged set menu. Room service is available during dinner.
Our Sportsmans Arms Pub is considered to be the "nicest" pub in the area. The locals are friendly and will enjoy a game of Pool or Chess with you. Having a sundowner on the veranda is often accompanied by a spectacular sunset.
Families and groups qualify for special rates. Arrange before arrival for pet friendly accommodation.
