Self-Catering Holiday Cottage with separate fully contained outside flat (sleeps 10 altogether). 35mins from Durban airport. Situated a mere 300 meters or two minute walk from a magnificent private beach, where surfing, fishing or swimming can be enjoyed. For the more serious fisherman the well respected Umdone fishing point is just 10 minutes walk along the beach. This is more than a cottage, having been lovingly renovated and elegantly furnished by the owners Alistair and Margie Stott.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, main bedroom is double with on-suite, 2nd two bedrooms are twin and there is also a second full bathroom. The large lounge/dining area is open plan with connecting kitchen. A veranda leads off the lounge out into a beautifully kept, spacious garden, featuring a modern wooden jungle gym. Perfect for the kids.

The flat comprises of a twin bedded room with en-suite shower and loo, separate living room with pull out couch. Features include the flats own entrance and kitchenette.

An outside hot and cold shower and loo complete the practicalities.

Extras include washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, fans in all the rooms, alarm system and electronic gate and garage. All linen is provided except for beach towels.

Most amenities are a mere 5 minute walk away, or if you're needing a serious shop then the Scottburgh shopping centre is 5 minutes away by car.

• Four golf courses two of which are less than five minutes drive away, including the well-known Selborne Championship course and golf academy.
• Wine and dine at top restaurants in the area.
• Visit Crocworld in Scottburgh (10min).
• Meridian dive centre and horse trails in Scottburgh (10 min).
• Tala and Vernon Crookes Game Reserves within an hours drive (Guided trips can be organised).
• Durban and Ushaka world 50 minutes away.
• For the adventurous, the exciting Oribi Gorge. Famous view sights, gorge swing, abseiling and mountain biking trail (35 min).
• For the not so adventurous- a serene beach setting ideal for "chilling" out and recharging the batteries.
