Situated on South Africa's main highway (the N1) between Johannesburg and
Cape Town, Nagenoeg is the perfect stopover en route to your holiday
destination. This recently renovated Karoo farmhouse is set on one of the vast
plains of the Great Karoo, conveniently located 8 km from the beautiful town of
Beaufort West, and 1.5 km from the N1. We can accommodate individuals, families,
and groups. Our guests are invited to come experience the peacefulness and the
famous stars of the Great Karoo!
Self Catering Accommodation
Nagenoeg offers spacious and fully equipped self-catering units, each with their
own kitchen, bathroom and private braai (bbq) facilities. Our luxury units have
their own private entrances, and secure parking on the property.
Our spacious units are tastefully decorated and comfortable. Big living areas
and private bathrooms await our guests. The kitchens are fully equipped with
hotplates, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Our private
braai facilities (bbq) are very popular for those who enjoy relaxing around the
fire while enjoying the night sounds of the Great Karoo! The units have
under-floor heating and air-conditioners.

Attractions & Activities
The Karoo National Park is situated just south of Beaufort West. It has a wide
variety of wildlife. Many species have been relocated to their former ranges,
such as black rhino and buffalo, as well as Cape mountain zebra. The fossil
trail is also very popular with tourists.
The Chris Barnard Museum is a big tourist attraction in Beaufort West. It's
located in the middle of town, and constitutes three historic buildings. The
world famous heart surgeon was born in Beaufort West. The town also has a lovely
nine hole golf course, and the Great Karoo is a famous hunting
