Surrounded by beach, forest, and river lagoon; Nectar Cottage is unique in that it is located inside a South African National Park: Nature's Valley in the Tsitsikamma. The Pearl of the Garden Route!

Nectar Cottage sleeps 8 people comfortably, 11 with the sofa beds and baby cot. The house has 4 bedrooms (master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and private sitting area and deck), 2 bathrooms, and a hot outside shower. Nectar is fully equipped and linen, bath towels and small articles such as soap and dishtowels are supplied. There is a dishwasher, a laundry (with dryer), wireless Internet, and lots of games and books. For the cooler winter evenings there is an open fireplace, and the large, private garden with BBQ is a pleasure both in summer and in winter. Expect all the comforts of home without the hassles! (Please note, we choose not to have a TV on site but the local pub has a large flat screen TV). Parking on site.

Nature's Valley offers lots of activities in the area such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, cycling, birding, whale watching, diving, fishing, shark diving, sailing, cruising, paragliding, parasailing, micro lighting, abseiling, and bungee jumping: the highest in the world, a breathtaking 216 metres for a full 7 seconds. There are lots of nearby parks and resorts with The Elephant sanctuary, Birds of Eden, Tenikwa (big cat reserve) and Monkeyland all within 15km from Nectar Cottage. In the gardens of Nectar Cottage expect daily visits by bushpigs, a variety of birds (including the Knysna Loerie), velvet monkeys and bushbuck.

Nectar is a self-catering house but you can opt for a (daily) cleaning service. 200 metres from the house is a good restaurant and shop, both open 364 days a year. Plettenberg Bay is 30km away and has a wide diversity of shops and restaurants. Smoking permitted and pets on approval. During the South African school holidays expect a lively holiday resort, for the rest of the year Nature's Valley is an oasis of peace with the most beautiful nature in the world.
