Our modest freestanding cottage is ideally situated for a relaxed seaside holiday - only 200m from the main bathing beach at
Salt Rock on the idyllic Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Fully equipped for 4 people with its own pool, enclosed garden, large braai patio and security system, the focus is on family-friendly simplicity and privacy. Although close to the beach, it offers no sea views.
Self Catering Accommodation
The kitchen / dining area / lounge is open plan for integrated holiday activities. The kitchen is well-appointed with microwave oven, large fridge-freezer with icemaker, etc, and complemented by a built-in TV and DVD player as well as a DStv decoder for use with guests' own Smart Card. A large sliding door links this area with the braai patio which overlooks the pool.
The pool area is completely walled for security and privacy and incorporates an outdoor shower to rinse off sand, a small lawn to catch a suntan and a floodlight for illuminated night-time dips. The pool is behind a childproof gate and the area can also double up as a playground for pets - which are allowed.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms - The main (double) bedroom upstairs features a striking mural and its own en-suite bathroom / WC. It is also fitted with a ceiling fan and spacious closet as well as an optional cot area. The second bedroom is downstairs and can be configured with a double bed or 2 single beds - as required. It has its own en-suite shower and WC.
The parking bay is spacious and secured by an anti-intrusion system, but it is uncovered.
