Oak Tree B&B is part of Rust-en-Vrede, a charmingly restored Victorian homestead, built in 1892. Set in gently wooded gardens with a sparkling pool and beautiful mountain views this is a haven of peace and tranquility.

Oak Tree B&B is centrally situated, in the most exclusive part of George, and within easy walking distance of the town centre, restaurants, library, museum, Tourism Bureau and Botanical Gardens. Oak Tree B&B is ideal for the discerning traveller or business person.

The three double bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Each has a full en-suite bathroom and private entrance. The rooms are well appointed and equipped with their own tea/ coffee facilities, mini fridge, TV, clock-radio, electric blankets and heaters. Parking is on-site and secure. One suite has a fully equiped kitchenette.

A full breakfast is served in the elegant dining room where the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

The historic town of George, set between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean, is the ideal centre from which to enjoy the fabled charms and scenic beauty of the Garden Route. Plettenberg Bay are all within easy travelling distance.

With beautiful beaches, majestic mountains and great expanses of open countryside we have an extensive range of activities for everyone to enjoy. This is a premier Whale watching strip of coastline. Information on these activities is available at Oak Tree B&B. The town itself has a sophisticated collection of shops, restaurants and museums.

The George, Knysna, Mossel Bay axis is the Golf Destination in South Africa. 3 of the top 10 golf courses in the country are in the area, two of these being in George itself.
