Ocean Eden is a beach front estate consisting of 3 villas, namely Pearl,
Coral and Cowrie.
Coral is situated right on and has private access directly onto Pennington main
beach where one can enjoy swimming, (lifeguards are on duty on week-ends and in
season), surfing, fishing, snorkelling, exploring the beautiful rock pools or
taking long leisurely walks. For the fisherman a quick 10 minute walk will get
you to Umdoni Point, which is a very popular fishing spot. Alternatively you can
relax in the garden or round the pool and listen to the ocean lapping on the
shore.
The unit is newly built with stunning decor and furnishings. The surroundings
are very tranquil and secluded with indigenous bush and abundant bird and
wildlife (loeries, grey duiker, dassies etc.) The house is secure with electric
fencing around and automated entrance.
The house, which sleeps eight, consists of four bedrooms, all of which have
their own deck and beautiful sea views. The internal flooring is all wooden
flooring, excluding the bathrooms which are tiled. Bed linen is provided, guests
to bring their own bath and beach towels please.
This beautiful house has a double garage with automated garage doors and
entrance directly into house, modern kitchen with separate scullery, dining room
off kitchen, 2 lounges, DStv (pre-selected channels), 4
bedrooms all with built in cupboards & aircon, 3 bathrooms (2 en suite),
separate guest toilet, pub with fold back windows to maximise the fantastic sea
views and fresh air, large pool, private jacuzzi, stunning entertainment area & sundecks with sea
views.
The down stairs lounge leads onto the entertainment area which opens onto the
pool and tiered sundeck over looking the garden. This is a lovely place to
capture the tranquillity and watch the wildlife. The upstairs lounge leads onto
a sundeck with amazing sea views. The open plan mahogany kitchen with granite
counters is fully equipped - including a gas hob and electric oven,
fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a separate scullery with dishwasher and
washing machine. There is also a large chest freezer and tumble dryer. The
dining room leads off the kitchen and has a 10 seater table.
The house has two en suite bathrooms, one with shower, corner bath, toilet and
double basin and the other with shower, toilet and basin. There is a separate
guest toilet and basin downstairs and the other bathroom upstairs has bath,
shower, basin and toilet. There is an outside shower with hot and cold water to
rinse off after a swim in the sea.
The house is fully service by a maid and small pets are allowed.
There is a chemist, bottle store, green grocer & restaurant/bar within walking
distance and a 2 minute drive will get you to Umdoni and Selborne Golf Courses.
The house is 30 minutes from Durban International Airport and 45 minutes from
Durban.
