This holiday home is in a class of its own and provides everything for a
memorable and carefree holiday. It is ideally situated on the historic Still Bay
West beachfront between the Goukou river mouth and the fisherman's harbor. Enjoy
whale watching from the deck and living room in winter and step down from the
deck onto the beach to walk and swim all year round. Still Bay offers an 18-hole
golf course, river for ski boats, skiing and canoeing. Surfing, angling, cycling
and surf skiing are exercised during all seasons.
The property consists of two living units: the main house (Opstêrs) on the
beachfront and a luxurious flat behind the main house.
Opstêrs: (Sleeps 8 people)
Offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: main bedroom en-suite with double and one
single bed upstairs and 2 bedrooms and bathroom with bath and shower downstairs.
Living room with flatscreen TV, DVD machine, PVR decoder (single or dual view,
should guests rent both units) Sliding doors open on to the deck. Separate
dining room with 10
seat Oregon dining table, state of the art kitchen.
Outside shower, toilet, laundry and separate bedroom/ironing room (sleeps 1)
with basin and built-in cupboard. The outside braai and living area (with table
and 8 chairs) is one of the main attractions of the house.
Amenities: PVR DStv (single/dual view). Bring your own smartcard. Decoder
not compatible with full HD smartcards. The owner's smartcard is available @
R250 per week or part thereof, should guests have problems with their own
smartcard.
Fridge/freezer, separate chest freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, gas
hob and multifunction oven. Cutlery, crockery and glasses. Washing machine,
tumble drier, iron and ironing board.
Both double beds have throws and blankets. Duvet inners (200cm) are in cupboards
in case of cold weather. Single beds have duvets with covers. Pillows and extra
blankets are provided.
Opstêrs Flat: (Sleeps 4 people)
The flat is right behind the main house. As it is a level higher than the house,
it has a beautiful view of the sea and has a separate deck with table and 4
chairs to enjoy the view.
The lounge/kitchen is luxuriously equipped with a gas hob and multifunction
electric oven, microwave oven, fridge and freezer, crockery, glasses and
cutlery. The lounge has a stainless steel built-in braai, table with 4 chairs
and a flat screen dual view PVR TV, which is switched on in the main house, but
operates independently. (Should you only rent the flat, bring your own
smartcard). DVD machine.
Consists of two bedrooms, main with queen-size bed and duvet with cover, second
bedroom with 2 twin beds with covered duvets, as well as pillows and extra
blankets. Bathroom with bath and shower, which operates from a gas geyser. No
linen provided. Bring your own sheets, towels and bathmats.
