"Outeniqua on C" is an accredited Bed and Breakfast establishment located
virtually on the pristine sandy beach at Strand. We are
midway between Mossel Bay and George and the closest shops, restaurants and
filling station are at the little village of Great Brak River about 7km away.
George airport is just 15km from us and there are several car rental outlets
available. If your wish is for peace ,privacy and tranquillity, we would like to
share our comfortable home and stunning surroundings with you. The beach just
60m away is reached with our private panhandle – no streets to cross.
We have two comfortable spacious rooms to which we have added a touch of luxury.
The rooms are situated in a private guest wing of the house. Both rooms have
private access from outside and are reached with 15 steps. The rooms can be
interlocked if friends or family want to share or they are locked off from one
another for your privacy. Both rooms are furnished and equipped for the
traveller, holiday-maker and businessman alike.
Room 1 has a double bed, two easy chairs, a desk, TV and radio/CD player.
This room boasts an en-suite bathroom. The room has partial sea-views.
Room 2 has two single beds, an easy chair, a desk, TV and
radio/CD-player. This room has a private shower room. The room has a balcony
with lovely partial sea-views.
Coffee/tea facilities and a hair dryer are provided in both rooms. Guests need
only bring their own beach towels. Crispy clean good quality linen and bath
towels are provided. Some basic toiletries are also provided. Enough coat
hangers are provided and there is ample storage space. TV programmes are
received via the main house. Two DSTV channels are available.
A full English breakfast is served on the enclosed balcony - enjoy while watching dolphins and whales in season. We truly endeavour to spoil our guests with different menu’s every day. Guests are welcome to sit and relax on this balcony at any time. A small fridge and microwave are available on this balcony for guests’ use. Soft drinks for sale. If you have to leave before breakfast, we will provide a lunch pack. Laundry, faxing and internet access are optional extras.
Let us spoil you with our true South African hospitality and use your "home from
home" as a basis for exploring the many attractions of the Garden Route. We are
within easy reach of some of the best golf courses in the country and scenic
routes and places of historical interest abound. We will gladly give you advice
and information on the variety of things to see and do, no matter whether you
want to relax or have an adrenaline rush.
Please note that all rooms at Outeniqua on C are smoke-free.
