It is the venue to experience the natural beauty and simplicity of the West Coast, in style!

Bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with Mediterranean, African and Beach style flair. All rooms have private balconies where you can see views of both the sunrise and sunset over the sea. (St. Helena Bay is one of the only three natural bays on the mainland coastlines of the world where you can see this phenomenon)

A sumptuous breakfast is served in the dining room, or al fresco in the summer.

Spend some quiet hours at the pool, or in the comfortable lounge, with satellite TV, cappuccino/espresso machine and well stocked bar.

The Oystercatcher Lodge is an ideal base from which to explore the West Coast and its hinterland. Excursions to charming and picturesque little villages such as Langebaan are an excellent way to engage with the locals and appreciate their culture and food.

Enjoy leisurely walks along the beautiful sandy beaches, taking care not to disturb the Black Oystercatchers who nest along the high water mark.

The Oystercatcher Lodge is perfectly positioned for watching the Southern Right Whales who come in from the sub-Antarctica to mate and calve, for most of the year along these shores.
