Paternoster is a quaint fishing village on the West Coast, where the atmosphere of a bygone era has been preserved. White washed fisherman cottages and salted snoek and bokkoms that hang in the wind to dry, are part of the charm of the village. It is famous for crayfish, endless pristine beaches, little rocky bays and abundance of sea life. Whales and dolphins are regularly seen especially during spring calving season.

Many Capetonians and West Coast locals use it as a holiday or weekend getaway. It is 145km and an easy 2 hour drive (tarred road) from Cape Town and 15km from the nearest large town (Vredenburg).

The Cape Columbine Lighthouse and Nature Reserve are only 5km from Paternoster. There are several properties for sale in and around Paternoster. It has a hotel, superette and trading store as well as a couple of restaurants.

• Sleeps 7 persons (4 single beds, 1 double bed, 1 3/4 bed)
• Bathroom with toilet + separate toilet
• No shower
• Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room
• Fully furnished
• TV, fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, electric frying pan
• Outside BBQ with lovely views of bay
• No fireplace, but heaters supplied
• Completely fenced with carport
• Self Catering (B&B can be arranged)
