Paul's Place is in Shaka's Rock, a quiet spot on the north coast of Kwa Zulu
Natal. The cottage is self-catering and consists of spacious
lounge/dining/kitchen opening onto a large deck/entertainment area and secluded
garden.
DSTV is provided - no card necessary.
It has 2 en-suite bedrooms with queensize beds and a studio/bedsitter with 2
divans (ideal for youngsters).
The entrance courtyard is fully walled with an electronic security gate which
provides safe open-air parking.
Paul's Place enjoys the best of both worlds - a mere 250 metres (easy walking
distance) from Shaka's Rock beach with its beautiful tidal pools yet unspoilt by
the hurly-burly of its near neighbour, Ballito. Shaka's Rock is minutes away
from excellent shopping facilities and eateries, 20 minutes from the new
International airport and Sibaya Casino then 10 minutes further to the many
delights of Durban and Umhlanga.
Numerous golf courses, fascinating Indian temples and other places of interest
are close by and 1 hour north is the historic town of Eshowe with its Old Fort
museum, world-famous Vukani weaving collection, the unique forest boardwalk and
internationally-acclaimed birding route. Also close enough for a day trip are
Mfolozi, Mkuzi and Hluhluwe Game reserves and the famous Rorke's Drift and
Isandlawana battle fields..
