Pelican Lodge is a tasteful haven of peace and comfort on the outskirts of
Sedgefield on the Garden Route.
A perfect base for visitors to the area, a 5 minute journey in each direction
will take you to any of our 5 beaches, the
Groenvlei, the mountains and the
central business district.
Set amongst well tended lawns and flower gardens the lodge is a modern built
structure with 6 airy, well lit, en suite double rooms 3 of which have balconies
and 2 family garden suites equipped with all the home comforts you need to make
your stay memorable.
Pelican Lodge welcomes the company of an eclectic mix of guests, ranging from
travelers on the coastal route, to local holiday makers and international
clientele many of whom become regulars after their first visit.
All accommodation has en suite bathroom facilities, TV with terrestrial channels
and M net and coffee and tea making facilities.
A guest lounge provides soft seating, free internet access and a small but
interesting library of books, games and magazines.
In our dining room, you will be spoiled for choice with selections to be made
from our buffet and a small, busy kitchen which prepares full cooked breakfasts
fresh each morning, so cast aside those good intentions and take a seat!
The verdant lodge gardens provide visitors with a choice of 3 separate braai
areas and an outdoor wood oven, each with its own comfortable seating area.
Relax and listen to the sound of birdsong and wind chimes in the shade of the
spreading branches of our courtyard tree or share a meal with friends around the
long farmhouse table. Take the plunge in our tempting pool or relax on a sun
lounger while the others prepare dinner.
For parents with children, we provide high chairs, travel cots, bunk beds or
extra mattresses on request. A baby sitting service is available by prior
arrangement or if you wish to stay closer to home but relax outdoors, baby
monitors can be borrowed from reception.
A laundry service is available on site and rooms are serviced daily by our
friendly staff.
A vast fund of information about tourist attractions in the area is available
from reception and dinner bookings at local restaurants can be made from the
office.
Smoking Policy
With the exception of the garden and balcony areas, Pelican Lodge operates a
non-smoking policy.
N.B. Pelican Lodge is a Halaal friendly establishment.
