A Farm on the border of the
Northern Drakensberg / Eastern Free State,
halfway between JHB & DBN

Nestled at the foot of a mountain Perth is the ultimate refuge and getaway. This superb stone house restored to its original splendour is furnished with Africana antiques and sleeps up to twelve people.

The house consists of the sunny dining/lounge, kitchen, shower, toilet and four bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom. The second has one double bed and one three quarter bed. The third bedroom has two single beds while the fourth room has one double and two single beds.

Wood for the fire place and braai area is for sale from the house-keeper/watchman who is also responsible for all the house cleaning duties.

Although the house runs off electricity, candles and oil lamps ate provided for ambience. It is also a good idea to bring a torch for outside use. The cabin is fully equipped with towels, linen, cutlery and crockery. The fridge has an 18 litre capacity and has a freezer segment as well.

In winter time there are three blankets per bed as well as a hot water bottle provided. Under cover parking for two vehicles is provided.

Bushman paintings on the farm can be viewed and prior arrangements should be made with us should you wish to do so.

Perth is all about relaxing and caters for the trout fishing, hiking and mountain bike enthusiasts. The dam is well stocked with rainbow trout. There are no rod fees however trout removed from the dam will be charged at R50.00 per kilogram.
