Pinkers Plaice is situated on The Island,George. It is also the start of the famous Golfing route. The only access to the island, by car, is over the quaint and very narrow one-way bridge. A spectacular view of the river mouth can be seen from high up on the dune.

Activities

Golf: A golf course just across the bridge, another just 25 kilometres to the world renowned Fancourt, George Golf Club and Mosselbay Golf Club.

Other activities: The lagoon is ideal for fly fishing and lagoon fishing. Canoeing, surfing, surf fishing, kite surfing and cycling. The town boasts a squash court, tennis club and mashe Golf Course.
