Lot 601 is located on the quiet end of Port Edward. We have hardly any
traffic passing our door, and it is easy to forget that you are situated close
to the bustling activity of Port Edwards, Centre Business district.
The house comprises of 3 bedrooms, 1 en suite, with a queen size bed, and 2
bedrooms with 2 single beds each, with an extra bathroom.
The cottage is approximately 4 metres from the main house, and has an additional
bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a second bedroom with 4 single beds.
We have a servants quarter, should you wish to bring a nanny. The veranda that
runs the length of the house, has comfortable seating and a lovely table, where
we enjoy breakfasts and braais, with the sound of the waves breaking nearby. We
have a splash pool to cool off in on hot afternoons, and airconditioners in both
the main house and cottage. A satelite dish and decoder is installed for your
comfort, kindly bring your own card, or hire one from various outlets in
Margate.
The newly renovated kitchen is furnished with crockery etc. for 12 people, and
has a dishwasher, stove, microwave oven, fridge and seperate freezer. A maid can
be arranged, should one be required. The house comes fully fitted with all
necessary linen, except towels and beach towels.
Lot 601 is a secure property, in a safe area. Regardless of this, the normal
caution does apply. We have a 6 foot palisade fence, with razor wire securing
the back of the property. The property has a working alarm, with panic buttons
strategically placed.
Lot 601 is situated plus minus 2 kms from the main swimming beach, but situated
about 100metres from Dassies, a lovely little beach, where old and young alike
can spend hours in the peaceful tranquil surroundings, collecting small shells.
