This is a huge house on the Royal Alfred Marina in Port Alfred. The house is on the water and has a sea view. The house has 3 en-suite double rooms and three more double rooms, a big kitchen, washing room, dining room, living room, formal living room, maid's quarters, 2 playrooms and a big extra TV room with 2 beds plus a toilet and basin. This house can easily sleep 14 people. There is a lawn and one can fish from the premises. You can take your boat if you have one or hire a boat from the harbour - to do all sorts of water sports on the Kai river or simply cruise through the marina and have a sun-downer on the boat. You can also cruise up this great river where you will see beautiful scenic views and become part of this lovely old English town.
The house is within walking distance from the beach and 5km drive from the main, BLUE FLAG Kelly's beach. Port Alfred is situated between East London and Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. Bathurst is 10km from Port Alfred- and it is famous for the largest pineapple in the world, the Oxbraai and it hosts the oldest hotel in South Africa - where you can sit on the veranda and have a home-made pie and draft beer. (Port Alfred is famous for its pies!)
Port Alfred has a golf course and there is quad biking and horse back riding near by. The town also has lots of quaint little shops and restaurants - be sure to pop in at FUNKY JUNK. You will love the marina and the water that surround you, the beautiful weather and all the fun.
