This quaint, secluded camp lies deep in the heart of the Dinokeng North
bushveld. In about an hour's time, you could be far from the city, relaxing in
the quiet of the bush, breathing the fresh air and be entertained by birds in
abundance. Enjoy total privacy and tranquility and laze at the rock pool.
Sitting in the lapa at night under a star studded sky, you will almost surely
hear a jackal, calling its mate. The private camp is ± 8km from the main gate on
the privately owned Pride of Africa Game Reserve. The Reserve is part of the
Dinokeng Big 5 Reserve. Game roam on this 5600Ha malaria free area and include
Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Njala, Gemsbuck, Giraffe, Eland Blue Wildebeest, Impala,
Waterbuck, Zebra, Kudu, Jackal, Red Hartebeest, Tsessebe, Warthog. Elephant and
Buffalo will be introduced soon.
Camp Setup:
The entire camp consists of 5 chalets, sleeping 12 people:
The lapa area consists of the fire pit, braai facilities, fully equipped kitchen
(stove, oven, fridge/freezer, beverage fridge, microwave, percolator, hot tray)
and thatched breakfast area. The non-smoking lounge can also host 14 people
seated at the dining room table for a conference. DSTV - bring own card.
Our non-smoking chalets consist of:
3 x two single beds, en-suite
toilet, shower
1 x three single beds, en-suite toilet, shower
1 x one double bed, one single bed, en-suite shower, bath and toilet
Our friendly staff will be at your service on a daily basis.
